“Raw Bundle” Service Requests/Indications

• Requests and indications are inherited from Network service interface, and a minimal set of security service requests/indications may be introduced:

  • confidentiality.request
    • Parameters: Algorithm, Key
  • integrity.request
    • Parameters: Algorithm, Key
  • confidentiality.indication
    • Parameters: Yes/No, if no - indication of why
  • integrity.indication
    • Parameters: Yes/No, if no - indication of why

• When using the “raw bundle” interface, application entities are responsible for handling all transport related services
